George Duran is a multilingual chef, comedian, and host who boasts a diverse background in both culinary and media elds. He is a regular culinary contributor for Good Morning America, the author of the cookbook “Take This Dish and Twist It,” and the host of the Food Network’s popular show “Ham on the Street” as well as TLC’s “The Ultimate Cake Off!” He has made numerous appearances on national television programs, including The View, Live with Kelly, NBC’s Today Show, CBS This Morning, The Wendy Williams Show, The Dr. Oz Show, Fox and Friends and The Tamron Hall Show.
Duran’s journey to becoming a renowned chef began with his attendance at New York University, where he majored in Mass Media and Communications Studies. After college, he worked as an on-air personality for an award-winning comedy show on WPLJ and WABC in New York. In 2000, he began producing for the popular MTV show, “House of Styles,” and subsequently began hosting on the Latin music television station HTV.
